This could go only one way - it would become TheirTube.

Science is not a subject, but a method.

Smart moderation is a time intensive job. It should be a paid position at Google, rather than relying on automated bots who cannot understand things like 'context' and 'fair use', and certainly not offloaded onto the dregs of the internet.

I feel like this will be much more likely than 'those darn SJWs'
There's significant precedent. Are you trying to deny the fact that SJWs have a long history of trying to censor opposing views both online and in real life? Consider

Oh I know, I completely agree.

Honestly, I'm having a hard time figuring out who people consider to be SJWs apart from "people with left-leaning positions that I disagree with". It's so loosely defined, imo.

Speaking of having a hard time, it's really bothering me. Are you a guy or gal?
Your avatar picture is puzzling me.

How so? Are there SJW movie studios going around and abusing DMCA copyright take-downs to remove reviews of their films? Wink

Right now the most recent censorship fiasco that comes to mind is The Bible Reloaded guys getting his with five simultaneous and spurious DMCA claims from the Christiano Film group.

I hope Hugo and Jake kick Pirate Guy's ass in court.
