Is empathy truly reserved for those close to us?
This Indian gang rape thing saddened me. But largely because Indian women are cute to me, and I feel like a guardian over them. that sounds weird, but that's a whole other issue. if it had occurred in Africa (Africans to me are inferior), then I doubt I would have given a shit in honesty.

That said, do most humans not really give a shit? Are empathy and compassion largely things determined by "religion" and popular culture?

You already have several threads along the lines of this one. Stick to them and don't open another thread unless it is unrelated to this topic.

Behold the power of the force!
