Ten foot poles are awesome when women dance around them.

RE: Is incest immoral?
there seems to be a not insignificant portion of the population that is just fine with the fantasy of sisters, particularly twins, doing stuff with one another. i don't get it. perhaps it's the extra naughtiness factor from "incest". if incest came to be not so taboo, a whole genre of porn might disappear Tongue

also not mentioned in the question is age factor. it seems extra ick, not good, whatever feeling you have, if the siblings are under age vs under age sex with other under age non siblings. Either way, under age sex is not an ok thing, imo, but there seems something much more unhealthy in their upbringing that would bring about sex between under age siblings. Then after becoming an adult (18??) it becomes ok? Guess I'm still grappling with all that.

Who are we to judge others?
What makes "you" think that consenting adults need "your" approval before having sex with their chosen partner?

We certainly don't need government issue sex licenses.

It is beside the point whether these people have children or not. Evolution will naturally decide what is the successful strategy.

Inbreeding doesn't help a species - it hinders the chances of survival- so we are hardwired to discourage this behavior, though it may indeed seem somewhat natural to find such familiarity attractive.

So yes, not so much immoral, just creepy. Shy

Does it help to know that famously, FDR & Elenor were cousins? As were Edgar Alan Poe & his wife... or does that just provide more creepy? Undecided

FDR and Eleanor R. were 5th cousins once removed. That's pretty distant.

Well, that goes without saying. Dodgy

True.
However, taking that under consideration & associating the thought with anyone in my own family, even distantly... Sadcryface ew.

Diseases like Huntington's and Sickle-cell developed within insular cultures which made allowances for incest. Of course, when discussing incest, we can't leave out any of the royal families and their dubious gene pool... Hemophilia, anyone?

Incest isn't good for many reasons... the least of which would be any moral reason. In my opinion. Drinking Beverage

I don't think it's immoral. I don't care if they have kids either. I mean...is there any evidence that siblings having babies is any more dangerous that people with genes for hereditary diseases having babies?

In short, sexual reproduction evolved to give more diversity to the gene pool. The less diversity, the more problems can occur.

That doesn't really answer the question. I mean, it's not like all siblings are going to reproduce. A brother and sister may have a child, but their child is not likely to have a child with its sibling as well. They will go on to reproduce with non family members. I just don't see it as something dangerous enough that it should be outlawed.
