Josef Stalin condemned Millions to death with a stroke of his pen. Do you know of a swordsman with as high a figure?

Amazing how everyone is slobbing my knob about proving my claims yet no evidence is needed for claims that reflect already held beliefs....like the one you just mentioned.

There doesn't seem to be a true consensus about the exact number but most historians place it somewhere between 20 million and 60 million.

That's a huge gap (40 million). A leader of a nation has responsibilities divided up among other people. Do you think Stalin personally decided on the majority of people that were killed? Or what if say the head of the secret service or other organizations leaders were doing the deciding on who gets whacked.

You also are a hypocrite when it comes to Internet links as evidence. You don't count my links because you believe they will 100 percent of the time be slanted against the U.S. yet you provided studies and links from anti-communist western sources.

I included one from Russia so your point is invalid. As to the number discrepancy it has to do with census and accounting problems from that era and when you stop counting deaths being attributed to Stalin, people he sent to gulags but died after his possible assassination or people that had been sentenced before he rose to power but were executed under his term. Also some of the larger figures include WW2 figures based on his horrible handling of the army and his officer purges. Either way my original statement of Millions was a far more conservative estimate than the consensus data.

Boom!

RE: Is the Pen mightier than the Sword?
I don't believe the saying is in relation to politics v military but rather media v government.

And prepare yourself for some deep philosophical shit right here, I don't believe one is mightier then the other. I think either can strike down the other depending on the circumstances. A government can force a populace to do what it wants by force just as a social network can spread word of revolution. Like a cycle.

Again, your hypocrisy is getting to be like a bad comedy show.
You don't like RT reporting because you say they are biased yet you accept capitalist/western reporting on the Soviet Union. That is called hypocrisy

MOTHA FUCKIN BOOM

You cited the international business times. Of course is going to be anti-communist.

Wikipedia-not accepted when I use it and it's not accepted when you use it.

The distributed republic states that it is a liberal website. Liberals have always hated communism.

Stanford. A school where all the richest capitalists get to learn. Anti-communist.

Historyofrussia.org from the U.S. - Anti-communist.

You are a stupid mother fucking hypocrite.
