RE: Is there "atheist" music?
This isn't necessarily a consistent theme with the bands in question, but a few songs I can think of:

I'm blanking on any more right now, but there should be others.

"Well, the Bible does say God helps those who help themselves."
"Nah, it doesn’t, actually – that’s from one of Aesop’s fables. The Bible says quite the opposite, in fact – many passages of being patient and faithful, and waiting for the Lord to decide if he wishes to assist."

Tombstone Da Deadman is another rapper who attacks religion in his lyrics.

I like to play this one right after I have stop for prayer time on my outdoor gigs.

Lately I've been digging this band, Law. Video for their song "Of Monkeys and Man" is pretty sick and most of their music has clear antitheistic themes
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sInqWslgu8c The entire EP they did seems to be about evolution theory.
Their newer stuff is good to and def worth checking out ArtRockTrash.com

Yes.
Everything by Leonard Cohen.

Skepticism is not a position; it is an approach to claims.
Science is not a subject, but a method.

Black metal and Death metal is definitely anti- christian.

I think the Gothenburg bands (personal favorites) are atheist: In Flames, Dark Tranquility

Lesser faith- Dark Tranquility really good melodic death metal

Technical prog-metal innovators 'Atheist' are an obvious choice.

Technical prog-metal band Spiral Architect's one and only CD, ' Skeptics Universe' is another. If you're into frighteningly good musicianship and incredible complexity, give this a shot. Clean vocals.

Frank Zappa has many songs throughout his career.

ELP had a few songs with atheist lyrics. Even their Christmas song "I Believe in Father Christmas" was cynical.

Lyrics -

They said there'll be snow at christmas
They said there'll be peace on earth
But instead it just kept on raining
A veil of tears for the virgin's birth

I remember one christmas morning
A winters light and a distant choir
And the peal of a bell and that christmas tree smell
And their eyes full of tinsel and fire

They sold me a dream of christmas
They sold me a silent night
And they told me a fairy story
'till I believed in the israelite
And I believed in father christmas
And I looked at the sky with excited eyes
'till I woke with a yawn in the first light of dawn
And I saw him and through his disguise

I wish you a hopeful christmas
I wish you a brave new year
All anguish pain and sadness
Leave your heart and let your road be clear
They said there'll be snow at christmas
They said there'll be peace on earth
Hallelujah noel be it heaven or hell
The christmas you get you deserve

Rush - Freewill

XTC - Deargod

There are many atheist musicians and composers that didn't specifically write atheist music.

Bela Bartok, Hector Berlioz, Pierre Boulez, Prokofiev, Ravel, Shostakovitch, Bjork, Eddie Vedar (Pearl Jam), Dave Gilmore (Pink Floyd), Brian Eno just to name a few.

I could have sworn that it was in this thread that I learned about melodysheep, but going back through I don't see it, so perhaps it was another thread. If you don't know about melodysheep yet, I think that you will love his music.

I'm not sure if the creator of the videos and music is an atheist, but the music really appeals to me, as an atheist.
