Is this how a creationist lobbyist thinks?
(Edit: Video seems to not always embed when the processor is reading the source so if it doesn't embed properly here's the link if you still wanna look.

Thanks!)

Is this what the US is up against?

This video is a highlight reel of one of the most scientifically clueless women on planet earth explaining to Mr. Dawkins why she runs a relatively influential lobby group that lobbies for creationism to be taught in the science classroom.

So much stupid nonsense comes out of her mouth it's almost funny.

And then we remember the implications of what she's saying.

Yup! I saw this a few years ago. It's a wonder her head doesn't implode.

I've seen the video before and Wright sure comes across as bubble-headed. But the video has also been edited by Dawkins and his people. One can never really be sure if one is getting the true story.

So a couple of years ago I found that a local church was hosting an Australian fellow from Creation Ministries named Peter Sparrow. (Note: the link opens to a video "welcome" page.)

Sparrow was an affable, humorous, jocular fellow, not at all like the shrill and brittle Wright, but still, his ideas about creationism were about the same as hers. He didn't mention dragons but he did go on, at length, about the Piltdown Man fraud and how that negates any science done on human evolution.

I left the evening with a terrible feeling that people like Wright and Sparrow had influence on the education system.

Yeah I watched the whole thing. It's a little over an hour. There may have been some editing, but she seemed to have her mind made up on the main points she kept coming back to, and no amount of evidence was gonna change her mind.

Yeah the story unfogged posted is the one with dragon lady. Wowza.

It wasn't a creationist that discovered the Piltdown hoax. Drinking Beverage

Something tells me they wouldn't have rigorously scrutinized the evidence to discover the hoax.

Something about not caring about the scientific method likely.

Just a theory.
