RE: Is watching porn healthy?
I personally have no problem with porn in general, but watching it can certainly lead to unrealistic sexual expectations and unhealthy views on women. The average girl doesn't suck dick, take it in the rear, and/or swallow copious amounts of man gravy. Inexperienced young men who watch porn may come to think that these are universal sexual practices. This might lead to the objectification of women as mere sex puppets. Holding such views could fester and result in someone getting hurt.

I've told my teenage nephew for years now that sex in real life is nothing like porn (that is unless both partners are experienced and are into that kind of stuff). I've done this in order to destroy any negative preconceived notions that he may have had. I want him to enter into a sexual relationship with realistic expectations. I especially want him to respect the girl he's with.

It can be either; it depends on your approach.

RE: Is watching porn healthy?
I think it DOES depend. Watching porn everyday is unhealthy. Watching porn once a week seems fine. What type of porn are we watching here????? Porn in marriage can destroy trust. If both partners are okay with it, then it healthy, if it is not okay with one partner than it is not healthy (for the relationship) Porn does like to object women. Many women feel porn is liberating and women feel in control and feel empowered. Porn is generally a secretive thing, so porn is meant for masturbating. Masturbating is normal. Masturbating is healthy. Most porn stars have fake everything, and leads to very biased views on how women should really look. Most women don't do things that women do in porn. But it is healthier to jerk off to some sluts with daddy issues than to catch an STD, or worse, pregnancy.

Masturbating is actually very healthy for you. Porn is just an accessory to all that. I agree with the other posters though--anything that consumes your life is not healthy for you. The same could be said about religion.

Pretty much what everyone else has said already, as long as it doesn't become an addiction. Have fun, enjoy life while it lasts.

The worst thing that ever came from watching porn is somebody made a sandwich.
