Forget that. It's 2016.

Is it addictive? No! There's a podcast that Seth did last year titled The Myth of Sex Addiction. I suggest you watch it.

Should you feel guilt and shame? Only if you have some reason to suspect that someone was exploited in the making of the film. Obviously child porn involves the exploitation of children so a heavy dose of guilt is in order. But I subscribe to the view that what consenting adults do in private is no one else's business. And there's a limit as to how far you go in assuring that there was no exploitation. If you go to great lengths to insure that the lettuce you eat was not picked by workers being paid slave wages then you should take those same precautions with porn.

Porn exists because people's natural sexuality is being repressed due largely to centuries of religious indoctrination. There may be a small minority for whom porn is a stimulate that causes them to go out and rape and kill but I think that for the great majority the effect is cathartic.

Do you enjoy organisms and occasionally making a sandwich? Then porn might just be the hobby for you.

How did you just recently realize that you are queer? You went 38 years not knowing?

RE: Is watching porn healthy?
How much of the "unmarried sex" stigma in our society do you think stems from the ole Jesus and company Evil_monster gang anyway?
98.9 %?

We all agree most guys set the bar for being the prime examples of being whores, yet no frownie brownie for getting tagged with that award? Chit it's all high fives till we're + -26 or so. Thumbsup
WTF double standard this is?

Alah also had some pretty easy rules for his club's XY (male) members too I hear.
( "male" members is too easy to pun)

Ok, I don't think an occasional consenting porn workout video is unhealthy at all. Confused It's fun to watch a sincere, willing couple do whatever it takes the make the other one uh, yeah,UnsureOhmyGaspShockingBig GrinTongueRolleyesBowing
Where's the harm in that?
I'm not an expert, or a regular by any definition really, but if your porn exposure = gross or just stupid, you really need to shop around more.Cool
(did it help believability for me to underline?)

You have to be odd to be #1.

I think it's very healthy, I highly recommend it. I could site some biological justifications for this (they do exist), however...... think about it. It's fun, I mean other mammals jerk off too, it's quite natural. You can go through the claims against porn and totally debunk them with ease. It's just fear mongering to control you.

Ultimately the only person who can decide your life and what is best for you is you. But I highly recommend porn to everyone. I think everyone should be able to enjoy the benefits of sex, not just those who won the genetic or life lottery. How cruel is it that just because some people aren't considered attractive they must be doomed to hormones and emotions and desires they can never act on?

This is pretty much one big plea to emotion, I am aware of that. BUT it sounds like your problem isn't a rational one, its an emotional one formed from religious lies and abuse.

Hope you find your happy.

Is there any evidence to support this claim? I'm reminded of the erroneous claims about video games and violence. When in fact gamer are some of the most chill lazy fucks you'll ever meet on average (I say this as a "hardcore" gamer and I consider myself a chill lazy fuck, though I am not interested in trolling or being mean to people). Worst you get is some troll who's got energy to shout on a mic or type angry words on a keyboard but likely won't walk even a mile. The facts just don't match the popular myths, I suspect a similar effect here (research needed to know for sure).
