RE: Is watching porn healthy?
Is watching porn healthy? Sure.
Is watching porn a good excuse to not eat, not go to work, not take out the garbage, etc.,? No.

Believe it or not, Elvis was a health-nut. He would eat a case of Dannon yogurt in one sitting. Yes, a case.
Does anyone question why he died sitting on the toilet? Dodgy

It isn't necessarily that porn itself could be unhealthy, it is the excessive input of sugar/alcohol porn into the human noggin, at the exclusion of or disregarding, all else.

Human brains look for good feels.
Some brains can walk away from the getting of good feels and some brains can not. The inability to walk away, can be a developed chemical thing and/or it can be an innate chemical thing. Either way, it's something to be aware of.

It is healthy to watch some porn.
Also, be aware: the most common place in the home where humans die, is the bathroom.

There may or may not be a connection. Shy

The three men striving to free themselves from addiction are Adam (Mark Ruffalo), Mike (Tim Robbins) and Neil (Josh Gad). After five years of sobriety, Adam starts falling for Phoebe (Gwyneth Paltrow – *), and must navigate his way into a relationship without falling back into his old habits."
.

I thought it did a good job of explaining how people can be addicted to (abuse) a necessary thing. Thumbsup

RE: Is watching porn healthy?
Porn - it it so, as determined in the eye of the beholder?
One man's underwear ad is another man's porn?
No really,
I'll never forget being told that a pitfall (Baptist my old club) mind you, was for men using (1990's ok?) underwear ads of women to "get a porn-ish fix". Unsure
Ooooh, women in bras and granny panties?? (I guess gettin' any poontang fix with the christian misses was just too difficult or unsatisfying?
How sad is that?
Damn Sad.

Yet OMG! I had NEVER thought of Sears and Dillards ads as possessing the least bit temptation to me. (do keep the earlier time frame in context cause now if models didn't shave for today's ads, I could understand it!)
I hate to think of the degree of sexual hunger one must have had to muster to get anything (useful) from those 1990's underwear ads.

RE: Is watching porn healthy?
My grandfather used to buy a man's magazin when I was a child. It had cars and and bikes and stuff about hunting etc. And of course it had women too. So when my grand parents where in the garden or whatever, I'd go and look at the nekked ladies Big Grin
When I was a teenager, and my mom was out or away, I'd watch nekked ladies at midnight on TV.
Nowadays I watch nekked ladies on the internet.

I don't think it's unhealthy unless you are actually unable to make your junk work without porn. In that case it is probably an addiction and you should tune it down a bit Wink

Btw I am surprised this discussion has survived for 8 pages.
