He is Risen!

Haha. Couldn't pass it up. Angel

My rep points are back and I see his name is no longer off on post 1 of this thread. Not sure if he is back posting or something else.

RE: It's better to burn out than fade away.
I am on new meds that are combating the headaches and the depression/anxiety that is brought on by the meds/pain.

I do not regret my decision to step down/leave (as I will be back on a limited basis); however, I do regret the way I did it.

I'm hoping all of you can forgive me.

Depression is a helluva thing that can make you do irrational things and convince you that they are completely rational; especially when you are under the weight of a heavy attack.

Good to see you here. I hope you'll come back often and stay part of the community.

And, glad you found some meds that help - finally!

Well... combating the depression... not the headaches. Still a massive struggle.

The drop in serotonin that happens from my headache meds has a profound effect on my personality. I hate it.

It's especially bad when I get a really bad attack which happens sporadically.

I just wish I could me med free and return to the old me.

For that, you will have to pursue the matter relentlessly, do research yourself, find specialists that have published on the issue and and and... just keep digging and don't give up.

I had undiagnosed Lyme disease back when it wasn't well known and the testing was inaccurate more frequently than accurate. I was told it was all in my head and damn near died twice from encephalitis. I finally found a self help group online and took matters in my own hands - and fixed it with the help of that group.

So, keep looking, just keep at it...

Glad you are back, and even happier that you have found a bit of relief.

Hoping you find the solution to the headaches ASAP.

No truer words, my friend.
