This kid has an IQ higher than Einstein and is already getting ready to fill a post-doctoral research position....wow!

I know a guy who really has Aspergers syndrome and I can tell you, this boy does not have it. I am pretty sure this is a hoax.

Aspergers can come in different "severities", and in many people, it is virtually undetectable. It manifests differently in everyone. There's at least one member here who has aspergers that could speak about it with more knowledge though.

Just visiting.

A hoax that he is a genius or a hoax that he as aspergers? Like Stark said, it can come in various different forms.

Well, it doesn't make much sense to pretend that you have asperges and you are no genious. So I guess both can be a hoax. This guy doesn't look at all like someone with asperges, not even a little bit, his movements, his way of speaking .... no not at all.
It's just a suspicion I have, but the "one member here who has aspergers" should be able to settle the case.

Not really. Even if they have aspergers, there's a chance they can't confirm that you are right or wrong. Mental disabilities can have a wide range of effects, especially one like Aspergers. This is obviously something that's very rare, and I don't believe it to be a hoax. Things like this happen once in a while, like with autistic savants.

It's certainly very interesting. I can't wait to see what this kid will do for the world of science.

If the kid is anything like Chris Langan, its a hoax. He took an IQ test on a magazine and proclaims its exceptional results as though its a good indication of his intelligence. He developed his own incomprehensible argument which even he cannot explain in the slightest.

The member I know of here is very knowledgeable. Didn't mean to imply he could determine whether this kid has aspergers. Only that he could give more info about aspergers than I could.

Just visiting.

We have 7 or so members here with aspergers. It's not that uncommon among the forum. Being diagnosed with aspergers means he focuses primarily on certain things, obviously here that would be math. Whether it's true or not just look for other articles. He would have a wide range of articles prior to this video if he is indeed attending college. Any time a kid skips like this the hometown goes crazy.

I'm not a non believer, I believe in the possibility of anything. I just don't let the actuality of something be determined by a 3rd party.
