Austenland

I found this movie to be pretty cute.
It's lovingly absurd and the entire cast is obviously having a blast. Jane Seymour shines in her role as demented head of household and Jennifer Coolidge is hilarious.

Wait?! How did I not know about this?

Curse my lack of television commercial watching.

But as if to knock me down, reality came around
And without so much as a mere touch, cut me into little pieces

I will be in the process of reading Pride and Prejudice very soon. From what I know from what I've sampled I quite like her writing style. Simple yet still quaint. Smile

I love Lucy! Heart Actually that was what I was watching when I decided to start this thread on Jane Austen. Lucy is such a kick. She's not all stodgy like other historians and maybe some people might find her too....I donno....too cavalier about history but that's exactly what I like about her. She's kind of impish with a sly sense of humor. Very neat lady.

Shakespeare's Comedy of Errors.... on Donald J. Trump:

He is deformed, crooked, old, and sere,
Ill-fac’d, worse bodied, shapeless every where;
Vicious, ungentle, foolish, blunt, unkind,
Stigmatical in making, worse in mind.
