Who the hell would want an uncomfortable life, over a comfortable life? If this is only life we have, than we should be seeking what is the most comfortable. Seeking to be as happy as we could possibly be.

You're basically saying you'd prefer shit that has no value "truth", over shit that has value "comfort".

No, you're straw man version of my post is ridiculous.

Reality is preferable over fantasy when it comes to which you allow to dictate the only life you'll get.

You don't survive your death. You're mortal. There is no God. You're responsible for your own actions. You have to be an adult with responsibilities.

Nor are you gonna sell me on how religion is some cancer, needing a cure. All this bloatware this romantic disbelief, says more about the person peddling it, than anything else. You may see your life as worthwhile, but when a young Jihadi sees it as painfully banal, he's not lying, nor are you, it's just not their cup of tea.

Who the fuck cares what a young Jihadi sees or thinks, (except obviously YOU think YOU need to have a shiny sparkly fraud to buy and sell to him, and that's your childish problem). You're not better than any atheist. You're just delusional. Banal or not, there is no Santa Claus, Jebus, or Easter Bunny.

You also still seem to think that atheists cares about a theists opinion on how an atheist values his/her life.

The only person trying to sell something here, is you but no one seems to be buying. Drinking Beverage

Why are you here again?

Utilitarianism. A slippery slope. You're saying you get to make up shit and buy into it if it makes you more comfortable. Grow up. You're saying the reason to believe is that it makes you happier then non-belief.

Brilliant. Simply brilliant.

To go one step further, there is no meaning, no higher purpose, no transformative truths, etc.. Fantasy is no more preferable to reality, than reality is preferable to fantasy, unless one is missing out on something that the other offers.

Reality and Truth are not ends in themselves, their just a means to a variety of different ends. And if fictions, and fantasies are a better means of obtaining those ends, than why not settle for them?

You're still on your straw man.

I don't settle for letting fantasy rule my life, because I refuse to settle for someone else dictating what is and isn't valuable or meaningful.

You on the other hand, find that your life as-is is unbearable and you need fantasy to make it bearable. It's pretty sad and pathetic.

Drugs. Try drugs. They're a more direct means to your end. Weeping

You are remarkably wound up today Tomasina. Fresh out of inane questions ? Reality and truth may not be YOUR "end". Speak for yourself. Jebus really is your blankey, isn't he ? How pathetic.
