John Shimkus cites Genesis on climate change
John Shimkus cites Genesis on climate change and hes running for top seat on our House Energy and Commerce Committee. He states "god said the earth will not be distroyed by a flood". why these people are not laughted at to their faces is beyond me, it scares me that they even get elected in the first place.

America's days as a world power are numbered. They won the Cold War, but now they are succumbing to parasites from within.

indeed NoJ... those being greed, ignorance, arrogance and the factions that want everybody to think, act, live and pray just like they do.... include the uber rich that just want the rest of us to go away after we pay the bills.

RE: John Shimkus cites Genesis on climate change
The implications of this incredible stupidity go beyond the decline of America. If the US doesn't do its part to help curb climate change, the implications are grave for all of humanity. People like this stand in the way of the future habitability of the planet. If it were up to me, I'd knock them right out of my way, but part of democracy is accepting when you've lost or that other people can disagree with you. Let's just hope the reality-ignorers don't lead to the demise of us all.

Oh, it's so much better when it comes from the horses mouth.

(Shimkus Video)

I'd love to see someone on the Panel ask him how he felt about Noah and other Biblical Patriarchs being so blessed as to be able to outrun all those Dinosaurs, so as to bring God's word to light. Tongue Not to mention that all the animals on the Ark lived within walking distance of Noah's house, while there's not one mention of 2 by 2 or 7 by 7 or 11 by 11, depending on which errant verse one reads accounting the journey on board of sets of animals, Brontosaurus', or Tyrannosaurus, or Pterodactyls, in the inventory.
I blame that damn writers block. Angel
