Justification is not required
Latest round of debate: theist 2, myself and reality 0

(Question 1)
Q: If the Bible is the word if god why have you not read it comprehensively?
A: Why teach yourself to play guitar when a teacher will make you s better guitarist.

(Question 2)
Q: Explain why God would condone such evil things (re :stoning of hobo stickman)
A: That was done by those people not God*
Q: quote》And the LORD said to Moses, “The man shall be put to death.
A: That describes how they interpreted Gods word not what God commanded.*
Q: Why did the Bible imply God was not opposed to this stoning.
A: God does not imply anything.* You have to interpret his word in your own way. I can read the same bible passage 5 times and get 5 meanings.
Q: So you are saying that God intended the stickman stoning to be in the bible and it was not written by people misunderstanding his word
A:Yes it is up to us to see the truth in what is moral
Q: So we create our morals , not God ?
A: You twisting my words , if you read the bible you would understand.
Q: I have read some , mostly the illogical stuff I admit as the happy stuff seems mostly common sense.
(I could have pointed out if he'd read the bible he would have know about God commanded the stoning)
A: You cant apply logic to the bible

Q: no more questions, I forfeited the debate (late for work)

Theism is to believe what other people claim, Atheism is to ask "why should I".

RE: Justification is not required
i guess this just proves atheists and theists are simply incompatible. at least, next time you see the lad, perhaps joke about the tomb of jebus being a gate into narnia or something. (gee, i think my brain needs rest aafter taking on the logical fallacies over at that thread linked at the fundies thread.)

He (he?) - they should have just given you the honest answer:
"I don't want to think and you can't make me!*"

(*but ignoring most of it by applying my morality to it instead of vice versa, of course, totally legitimate

... this is my signature!
