RE: KMFDM_Kid2000 vs. Christian Forums
I used to be an active member there until I got annoyed when they deleted a post of mine - it was in the topic where only christians are suppose to be I think - someone had asked how it felt that their "mascot" was a sheep, I replied that when I was a believer it was humiliating because sheep were not incredibly bright and they were used or slaughtered. Now a lion is a awesome mascot to have.
Nope deletion and warning sent.
Bleh.

Bury me with my guns on, so when I reach the other side - I can show him what it feels like to die.
Bury me with my guns on, so when I'm cast out of the sky, I can shoot the devil right between the eyes.

Fuck those with dissenting opinions!

On the more serious side of this, I do hereby do suggest that all those partaking in an expedition into the Badlands take screenshots of at the very least, their original post in threads they make. More thorough screenshot-ting is recommended, to the point of all posts being stitched into a long image of the thread, if possible.

I didn't think of that, but now I will. I recently got promoted to admin on a FB page with a blatant atheist name, so I was planning on posting a few little diddys on some christian pages just to stir the pot and get those juices flowing Wink

RE: KMFDM_Kid2000 vs. Christian Forums
They banned me for a few days for what I can only describe as "talking back" to a mod. I've decided to go for broke and post this upon my return in a few days.

First off, let me just start off by saying how deeply sorry I am for causing issue on the forum.
Usually I am a very civil person and I don’t know what came over me.
Causing a ruckus with my posts was never my intention.
Keeping the peace is my typical MO.

There is always going to be a part of me who holds myself to higher standards.
Helping people is an admirable goal of mine.
I just don’t always approach it in the best way.
Sometimes it can be quite difficult.

For future reference, I am a nice guy.
Only on occasion do I slip.
Really, I like it here.
Ultimately, it is on me to be better.
My goal is to cause little to no issue in the future.

very sincerely

I'm wondering if my message is too subtle?

They are not subtle people.

Skepticism is not a position; it is an approach to claims.
Science is not a subject, but a method.

No, it is not.
On some level,
I think they'll get it.
Time will tell.
In case it proves too subtle,
Some more similar messages,
Nicely and politely phrased,
Open the possibility of someone looking back with new eyes.
Try using internal references to get the point across.
