Bjorn of ABBA is the only atheist of ABBA although he doesn't like calling himself that he still doesn't believe in a god at all.

Pat Benatar? What's not to like?

Hal Blaine.

So she didn't really play the drums? Except maybe in a passing, lightweight kind of way? Or, maybe in the beginning she played the drums?

I didn't know that much about Karen Carpenter except that she died from anorexia and had an alto voice. They had this soft, oddball sound in the middle of all the rock n roll of the 70's and 80's and my parents liked her which was enough for me to dislike their sound. Laugh out load

She may have recorded one or two tracks later in their career, but no, Hal played all that stuff.

Everyone reading this site has unknowingly heard Hal Blaine. Movies, TV, songs on the radio etc etc.

Karen was an okay drummer.

In hindsight, these should have been the harbingers for my eventual need for exogenous testosterone supplementation. Weeping

Brian37 is gonna hate me but I never liked ABBA. Actually, "never liked" isn't a strong enough phrase , Blush I rather hated that band. I especially disliked Dancing Queen. Sorry jennybee, I couldn't click on that video. Dancing Queen was fucking played on every radio station, every hour for what seemed like years at a time. Rainbow Vomit

I think I'd rather listen to Karen Carpenter and her weird brother sister act than ABBA.

I reeeeeally wanted to see that film when it was in the theatres but missed it. I'll get around to it soon. Over the holidays would be a good time for me.

Banjo, wasn't Glen Campbell part of the Wrecking Crew?
