No, she wouldn't.

RE: Kim Davis's Professional Victimhood
Seems to be that she's destined for either an amateur sex video leaked online or a one-time contract for a porno movie. It's the final career resting place of all 15-minutes of fame has-beens.

This is mean but...
I'd like to see the IRS get her for tax evasion right after she loses her job.
Should I have posted this in the Karma thread? Consider

I hate to press the issue, but are you sure?

Let me elaborate a bit on that.

You can refuse the service to her based on your opinion that she is a scumbag. She is not a protected class so we are in the clear for now.

But, her behavior, the exact one that makes her a scumbag in your eyes comes directly from her religious beliefs.
Suddenly, with the help of a good lawyer , you didn't refuse a service to a scumbag, you discriminated against a religious group.

Is this scenario possible, or I just watched too many episodes of Boston legal?

RE: Kim Davis's Professional Victimhood
No, it doesn't come from her religious belief. I don't care if she's an evangelical Christian who believes gays are going to hell. That's their prerogative and none of my business. And, their money is just as green as the money or people who don't believe it. I'm happy to do business with them.

I'm kicking her out because of her specific behavior as a public official refusing to do her job and trying to profit off it. She's going to have a damn hard time arguing that's all her religion.

So, yes, I'm sure.

And, watch less Boston Legal.

One other thing: religious discrimination protects you against defense, not offense. Meaning that you are protected when you mind your own business and worship in private. Once you take your beliefs out for a walk and try to impose them elsewhere, its a whole new ballgame.

In fact, you did a perfect job of stating the law.

But would she have the grounds to claim that you are discriminating against her because of her religious beliefs?

She could try, but she would fail.

I would refuse to serve her because of her actions.
