What I will probably make: roasted vegetables, maybe with pasta.

I love roasted veggies and eat them several times a week these days. The other day I was thinning the onions in my garden and threw the pulled ones in with the other veggies I was roasting. They were amazing, super sweet. Now I am afraid I'll be raiding the onions often... I hope some of them make it to adulthood.

Last night I was taken out to dinner by my visiting sister and brother-in-law.
I had lamb, scalloped potatoes, and green beans. The potatoes were good, the beans excellent.

The lamb sucked - it was brown and tough. You have to go a ways to make lamb tough. Weeping
Why do people insist on over-cooking lamb? Angry

Ramen soup. Used a miso soup packet. May have been too much water but it was still good.

RE: What did you eat today?
A spinach/hummus sandwich. Apparently hummus is pretty easy to make. I made it without the tahini, though. Turned out great.

Sauteed spinach. Sometimes I just want spinach.

That's just weird. I tolerate spinach in dip, but only because the rest of the dip is so tasty.

I'd eat a steak salad too, if you leave out the lettuce. Big Grin

But now I have come to believe that the whole world is an enigma, a harmless enigma that is made terrible by our own mad attempt to interpret it as though it had an underlying truth.

There are a lot of things I am willing to eat. Big Grin

Not canned olives, though.
