RE: What's for Dinner? (or supper, or lupper, or the last meal of the day)
Not my best effort, but here's the pie.

Looks fucking delish, moms. I didn't even think about dessert tonight. Maybe I should have in an attempt to get the three year old to eat anything else. Rolleyes

Did all the cooking today. Don't get me wrong, the wife doesn't mind cooking. But it's sunday, and if you want something done right......

I kid, it's a good thing she doesn't frequent the forums. She's got facepage, I gots TTA. Tongue

But now I have come to believe that the whole world is an enigma, a harmless enigma that is made terrible by our own mad attempt to interpret it as though it had an underlying truth.

I always made dessert when the boys were small. Even a small scoop of ice cream worked. Smile. The only rule was they had try everything and eat the veggies.

I remember when a whole tray of brownies would last several days -- used to cut them super small pieces. Now if I bake a batch they're gone before I can frost them.

I'm feeling naughty, traditional Italian styled Meatloaf (actually found ground veal) with mashed potatoes and artichokes.

Tonight, left-over meatloaf and trimmings. Smile

Tomorrow night I'm cooking sausages but I made the fennel slaw to go with it tonight...It's got bacon in it!

Yummy!

Left-over meatloaf with green beans (this time) and mashed potatoes.

My younger son, who never used to be a fan of meatloaf in the past, ate three helpings!

Thats kids, at first you complain about them wasting food, and as they grow up you yell at them for eating to much. Going through that phase right now.

My son is 6' 6", 170 lbs, and a bottomless pit. Keeping him full, well? Rolleyes

I'm thinking tacos or fajitas that I can stretch out for the weekend.

I guess summer makes people crave Mexican. We've been eating leftover fish fajitas for too many nights now. I'm worried I'll have to freeze it to keep it from going bad. Tongue I made twice as much as usual because some of his old work buddies were supposed to visit, then ended up not.
