RE: What did you eat today?
Pork chili for dinner. The kids snubbed it because it wasn't "regular" chili, but fuck them, right? It was delicious.

Also dug out the jar of jelly we got for Christmas to try. Cranberry jalapeño jelly bought at the local farmers market. By itself on a spoon I wasn't convinced, but on buttered toast it's really good. The kids even tried it and went nuts, said they wanted it for breakfast.

Hold up kids, that's my fucking jelly.

But now I have come to believe that the whole world is an enigma, a harmless enigma that is made terrible by our own mad attempt to interpret it as though it had an underlying truth.

"Chai masala" tea.

Huh A decent roast leg of lamb doesn't need any sort of mint jelly. I love lamb! My wife was all about ham at xmas and Easter, until there was a rebellion, about 8 years ago. Now, I grill leg of lamb (well, sometimes it's big enough to be mutton, it seems) on Easter, and this year we had roast chicken for those who wouldn't eat the ham at xmas. Now I'm thinking about some lamb chops on the grill! Drooling Probably do that next weekend, if I can find some.
