RE: What did you eat today?
I just stuffed a lasagna with meat sauce in the oven... It'll be done in about 80 minutes

I might make some Scalloped potato's with it (as you can see I got groceries yesterday lol)

RE: What did you eat today?
A salad, a steak grilled to perfection, a baked potato, and yummy garlic bread. If I am ever able to waddle back into the kitchen I have three flavors of ice cream to choose from. Drooling

RE: What did you eat today?
Can of beef chili for lunch, followed up with some Trader Joe's 72% chocolate, and something else not memorable enough. Looks like the Brussels sprouts for tomorrow are going to be eaten tonight, along with some braised chicken tenderloins. Probably a little rice to go with this. I'm not much for rice (I prefer potatoes), but it's 4 minutes to dinner time and the rice is already cooked; we had it yesterday because I was working in the yard, and didn't realize how late it was getting (and my youngest son, who usually makes dinner) worked late and didn't get home until 8 PM.

RE: What did you eat today?
I have gone over the deep end with smoothies. We have a new oster bottle blender, and I had that uuuge bag of fresh spinach, and green and red kales. Picked up some mexican papaya, strawberries, and there was this sale on protein shake powder at Costco.
Depending on what I put in, the smoothies are 250~290 calories and 27 grams of protein.
Then I got to thinking, what about all those celery greens I cut off, and the romaine centers, and everything else that is clean and good veg that I have been throwing away?
That stuff is now all in a box and goes in the smoothies. The ends of cucumbers, you name it. My smoothies have a definite green tint to them Big Grin
