RE: What did you eat today?
Lunch- a tin of sardines and a vegetarian biriyani. Sardines were in olive oil, but salty as hell. The biriyani was really dry. I won't be getting it, or the sardines, again. I eat a really low salt diet, and when I get something like those sardines, it's just disgusting. Dodgy I'm to the point where I can't eat a lot of different cheeses, due to the high salt content.

Dinner- braised chicken tenderloin, red bell pepper and brown rice. Tasty!

What's that?

It's Georgian dish, made with eggplant and potato:

- 1 eggplant
- 1 big potato
- 1 big tomato
- 1 onion
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 1 chili
- 1 or 2 bay leafs
- coriander - 1 spoon
- dill - 1 spoon
- basil - 2 spoons
- parsley - 2 spoons
- salt and pepper

Cut potato and eggplant into slices, tomato, onion and garlic into dices. Put onion and potato into frying pan and fry it for 3 to 5 minutes, then add eggplant, tomato, salt and bay leaf and fry it under lid for about 15 minutes. Add little water if necessary. After 15 minutes add basil and rest of herbs, garlic, chili and pepper. Fry 5 minutes more.

You could also use fresh herbs instead of spices.

Sounds good. I love eggplant! Now I'm craving borani banjan with some lavash-an Afghan dish. So yum! The restaurant I used to go to that made the best BB went out of business Sad
