RE: What's for Dinner? (or supper, or lupper, or the last meal of the day)
I'm eating real food again for the first time in a week! I'm pretty much set on sushi...

Lost 12lbs since last Monday thanks to the food poisoning diet.

Chicken breast stuffed with broccoli and brie.

Last night was faux grilled cheese sandwich and spicy black bean soup.

Faux Grilled Cheese
Toast two slices of bread
Butter toast liberally
Layer on cheese, tomato, cooked bacon, more cheese (your ingredients may vary)
Zap in microwave on high approximately 30 seconds to melt cheese

Voilà! 'Grilled' cheese sandwich, no muss, no fuss.

I dunno. I've got a chicken breast in the fridge. Might be just one or two....

It's mystery night here.

But it does remind me, I need to take some shrimp out for tomorrow.

Greek lentil soup. Made by olive oil, brown lentils, tinned tomatoes, chicken broth, onions, garlic, oregao, bay leaves, vinegar, and salt. Served with slices of lemon, greek yogurt, garlic bread and Kalamata olives.

Very nice tasting. I'll make a huge pot. It will last for days.

Chicken (breast), rice and carrots. Sounds SO boring though… I need to figure a way to make the chicken more exciting but I don't want to leave my house today so I have to use what's on hand. Consider I found a can of baked brown beans I bought on a whim not too long ago, I haven't had those since my childhood, maybe I'll incorporate those somehow. Hmmm.

I actually did sausages last night because the chicken breasts weren't defrosted completely.

So it's mystery chicken night here at Moms house. Might marinate them in some herbs, garlic and wine...

I think there's a little wine in the fridge...maybe Angel

Oooo… I have beer- beer chicken!

I have salsa too, that's always a good marinade as well.
