RE: What's for Dinner? (or supper, or lupper, or the last meal of the day)
Wife is gone for another month to help her mom (mom had knee replacement surgery yesterday), so since she hates spaghetti and I LOVE it, I made a huge pot of sauce last friday, and have been living on it daily for dinner now for a week. I like all the goodies in it, fresh green pepper, 2 lbs of 97% lean beef, onions, tons of mushrooms, splash of red wine, fresh garlic you know "forget about it..." Smile

Hubby's cooking....

Whatever he's making is waaaaay tooooooo spicy.

He thinks it's going to be fine, "it'll mellow after it cooks a while."

Its already throat burning spicy. Experience tells me it won't mellow, but rather intensify.

Meanwhile I'm making plans to get food for me and kiddo elsewhere. I'm not suffering.

Pity it's made with a pork shoulder. Yummmmm

You should try smoking the eggs for smoked devils eggs or smoked egg salad.

clean off the eggs (older the better) and let them sit at room temp until you get you smoker going. low an slow is the best. put them on for about an hour if you can keep temp below 200f.

Take one off and test it out.

Rotate the eggs every 15 min.

I do my smoked eggs in an BGE

Just got home from shopping....

Got a whole chicken and most of the stuff to make meatloaf.

Just gotta remember where the hell I was when I found ground veal.
