Lake & Palmer minus Emerson
Keith Emerson is dead, at age 71. Shit... my dad isn't gonna like this at all.

I suggest this thread and the Prog Thread should be littered with the band's music.

"Don't answer that. A rhetorical question."

Quote:Lucky Man

By Emerson, Lake & Palmer

He had white horses
And ladies by the score
All dressed in satin
And waiting by the door

Ooh, what a lucky man he was

White lace and feathers
They made up his bed
A gold covered mattress
On which he was laid

He went to fight wars
For his country and his king
Of his honor and his glory
The people would sing

A bullet had found him
His blood ran as he cried
No money could save him
So he laid down and he died

Just heard about this a few minutes ago. Saw ELP the first time in 77. RIP Keith.

I learned of it at the drum store yesterday. Very sad. They were a huge influence in my early days.

Freakin' hell, who is next? They're dropping like flies. It all seems to have begun with Chris Squire.

RIP Keith. Thanks for the memories and legacy.

NOTE: Member, Tomasia uses this site to slander other individuals. He then later proclaims it a joke, but not in public.
I will call him a liar and a dog here and now.

Bill Wyman was in the news this week because he was diagnosed with prostate caner. They caught it early though, and the prognoses is good.
