I propose
1.use of condoms should be mandatory
2.testing for std's every week
3.workers should be 21+
4.workers should be tested on emotional stability
5.workers should be paid above minimum wages
6.workers should show no signs of physical abuse
7.should take a few english tests
8.the brothels should have secuirity guards

also,i would like to hear what spore would have against the legalisation with these regulations

In my fantasy dream world I'd prefer the age be increased to 35 to give women a chance to explore other career options first, and make it a voluntary job. No pay, all proceeds to charity. That way only women who TRULY want to have sex with strangers all day sign up. But... That would never happen, so my vote would still be no

no pay? Who the fuck wants to do any job for no payment?
Also, why 35?then,you should also do this for all other jobs, because at the core,it is just a service you're giving.

I don't really like going outside.
It's too damn "peopley" out there....

Can we agree that giving a service such as a manicure or washing someone's car is quite different that having sex with another person? I think there is a big difference.

I'll read the whole thread when I get home tonight.

Quick observation though...

There seems to be some clarity required regarding legalising vs. decriminalising.

Back soon.

Well im not advocating any crime on the sex workers part so therefore im in favor of "decriminalizing"

But if you haven't noticed, I'm dead set against legitimizing prostitution as acceptable
in a modern humane society.

People seem to think if 2% of sex workers are happy from legalizing that its OK for the rest be debased.
Many have been sexually abused as children. Drug addicts abound. . Selling sexual intimacy degrades us all as a species. ...

Theism is to believe what other people claim, Atheism is to ask "why should I".

Well, there we disagree then. Blush I think a lot of women (not all) give more emotional attachment to sex than sometimes even they realize.

Yes, free from government and tax 12.50%
Yes, with reasonable constraints and regulations 75.00%
No, because it's immoral/dehumanizes people/causes psycological trauma* 12.50%

Maybe the Theists are right about Atheist morals.

RE: Legalizing Prostitution
Also,legalising prostitution would
1.benefit the health of the customers and the girls because you can regulate tests on STDs
2.be good for the state financially. Why waste money preventing all prostitution why the state can earn from it if its regulated?
3.de-stigmatise it,and creating a union that would work against off-the-street prostitution
4.the distinctions between "suga daddies" and prostitution are so small (soo small spore cant see the difference between forced prostitution and sugga dadies) yet one is legal and one is not,and this is only because the stigma
5.give the girls more protection under the law. If your proffesion is illegal, how big is the chance you turn to the police if shit happens? Whereas if you're doing something legal, how much bigger is the chance?
