I imagine that they would like not to be treated as criminals, but who knows.

I propose
1.use of condoms should be mandatory
2.testing for std's every week
3.workers should be 21+
4.workers should be tested on emotional stability
5.workers should be paid above minimum wages
6.workers should show no signs of physical abuse
7.should take a few english tests
8.the brothels should have secuirity guards

also,i would like to hear what spore would have against the legalisation with these regulations

(1) What if the dude is holding a gun, and I don't mean his dick. Hard to press the panic button, flat on your back.
(2) Weekly test will help, but the incubation period of numerous STis make even this, less than satisfactory.
(3) Brothel owners not too concerned over age, and applicants can always use forged data.
(4)What criteria? Sex industry sponsored shrinks?
(5) Monetarily they usually are, except where slavery occurs.
(6) What of mental abuse? How often would these physical tests be held?
(7)Racist comment! We are talking about sex, not adult literacy.
(8) "Not tonight brother".................?

RE: Legalizing Prostitution
If they legalised prostitution (which I agree with) and I got a brothel gift card as a present for xmas I would be less..

BAH HUMBUG.

And more....

Hoe Hoe Hoe

Cool

I am the wind, in the fields in which I roar. I am the water, in which I drown.

RE: Legalizing Prostitution
Busy with work... (not hooking)

Ive thought it over a bit and discounting my emotional bias.that prostitution should be treated the same as rape.
Legalisation would still most definitely increase the number of sexworkers and normalize the act of renting peoples bodies for self gratification.

While ever we allow and accept people can rent other human beings for carnal satisfaction, we create an environment where the least of us debase themselves.

Theism is to believe what other people claim, Atheism is to ask "why should I".

I will say again, this shows your unnatural and unhealthy attitude to sex.

That is exactly right. Everybody seems to know what is best for the prostitutes,
but no one asks them. But there are acceptions. Here is a study from New
Zealand where hundreds of prostitutes were surveyed.

http://www.otago.ac.nz/christchurch/otago018607.pdf

It studies the change after decriminalization of prostitution in Christchurch, NZ.
(It's 213 pages long though)

1.you could let the people pass a metal detector ,but wich is imo too far, because the personel at a pharma also has a chance to get a gun in their face for drugs, and we don't do that.
2.thats why i said condoms are mandatory.
3.they will be,if they want to keep their permit
4.quilified shrinks who have some experience with these cases, reccomended by the govt.
5.agreed
6.every month. And mental abuse is covered by the shrink.
7.to prevent that human trafficing. If people cant pass the tests, there will be an investigation
8.so people will think twice before being too rough on the workers.

I know that these regulations aren't ideal, thats why i asked input.
Also, with these regulations the workers and the clients are a bit saver than underground prostitution w/o regulations, wich is already a good step in the right direction

I don't really like going outside.

How is it unnatural and unhealthy to prefer reciprocally enjoyed sex.
I sure as hell don't want sex with my GF if she is not in the mood for it. Why is that unnatural ?
