Lets also hope Obama's balls drop as well.
Forget it. He is owned.
'Hope' is not gonna cut it, my friend.
Look at the Wall Street crew he brought to the White House.
The very same people that caused the global economy crash were 'elevated' – rewarded? – to the White House!
The neocon gophers.

If you want change you gotta make it change. Because it will never change of its own accord.
Too many people in too many key positions have too much to lose when it does.
So you will find the 'special interests' block you every step of the way.
And they are organized. You are not.
Its hard to win a rigged game, organized or not.

What do you suggest? Vote for a 3rd party candidate?
The problem is there is the expectation that they can't win so no one votes for them, and they can't win because no one votes for them. Well and because the corps aren't interested in buying a 3rd candidate. Even if you assume that you could get some independents into position, without being bought off, its rather meaningless. The checks and balances system ensures that not even the president could really enact any kind of meaningful change.

The real problem is that the whole democratic system as we know it is fucked.
It costs way too much money to run for office, elections occur too often, corporations are special people, and now the wealthy can give infinite amounts of money to officials.

This country is a plutarchy and there doesn't seem to be anything the people can do about it, organized or not. They have us by the balls, and they aren't letting go.

I suggest applying the same therapy in the US that the US implicitly advise other countries in dire need of regime change: revolution!
Anything else won't really make a dent in the status quo.

John Boehner himself isn't very optimistic about the Republican chances of keeping a majority in the House and I doubt they win the Senate. Come January we will have a Democrat controlled White House, Senate, and House of Representatives. This could get ugly.

I suspect Obama will win, but it won't be by a landslide. He just doesnt have the momentum that he did in 2008.
