God is testing us, he gave us free will, a superiour brain, then he removed all the evidence he's the creator of everything and asks us to believe in him without asking questions and without any proof. Just the fact he gave us logical thinking and then demands us to have faith is evidence enough he wants us to not believe in him. He wants us to use our full potential. To question everything, to use the evidence around us and it al leads to the conclusion that there is no god. To read the bible, thora, quran or any other holy book and to be an atheist after it is the true test of god because all the books make little sense when you read it critically and after all, what god wouldn't want to have its creation think for itself.

All atheists go to heaven!
Would it be possible to get the tax breaks the religions get? If so meet your new Pope Smile

RE: Let's make a new religion
I made this up last year

My new religion is an idea of how we all can remain connected in
an afterlife. Many religions use the fear of not being able to be
with loved ones in an afterlife as a way of keeping them in the
religion. The mormon cult is what initially drew me to create this
religion, but there are many other religions who do the same thing.
They convince people that they are going to a heaven and if your
loved ones aren't in the religion then they won't be with you in the
afterlife. You will be cut off from them for all eternity.

For a small donation to my non-prophet religion, you can be a
member of the Nexus. As a member you'll be able to walk along the
connections we have made from every religions heavens & hells to
our realm that we have created just for you.

No more will you have to worry about not being able to see or be
with your loved ones. Heaven, Hell or any other place will no longer
be your prison that keeps you from your loved ones.

In the afterlife, you'll be able to freely come & go to be
able to see all those you have lost throughout the years. We have
several people inside each religion that are also members of the
Nexus. All you have to do is contact them and they will be able to
open a doorway from your heaven or hell that will lead you to our
realm. Once here, you can chose to stay or return. If you stay, you
will be given a modest piece of land and the means to create the home
you have always dreamed of.

A family who has been split apart by one or several religions can
all come together as one family in the Nexus.

RE: Let's make a new religion
I've been a member of the Church of Bob for several decades now. But getting 501©(3) status (the ultimate goal of any religion) has been elusive. Being my own personal Jesus is apparently inadequate, so now I'm adding HoC as a prophet to my petition to see if that might prove persuasive. Wink

As it was in the beginning is now and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.
And I will show you something different from either
Your shadow at morning striding behind you
Or your shadow at evening rising to meet you;
I will show you fear in a handful of dust.
