WTF?

Ok, that came out wrong.
What I meant was, both are equally responsible for having sex, but it's the women who suffers the consequences (in the case of pregnancy) and so she has more to lose and so it's like the cyclist on the road situation where both the car and the cyclist are suppose to be careful around each other, but the cyclist has more to lose and so should take greater care.

I'm not saying men should be able to force themselves on women or whatever shit you're getting from what I'm saying.

RE: Lets Try Sperm/Conception Control Instead
I'm OK with a male contraceptive if it works, and has few side effects. I'd still encourage my sons to use condoms for STD protection, if they were under my control. My youngest is 26. We've had the conversations, and I'm sure that the "Dad Glare" drove home the point when I said they'd better not get a girl pregnant, unless they want a "little sister or brother" in the family. If one of my sons had fathered a child while a minor, we would have raised that child. Depending, of course, on whether the girl's parents allowed it.

I don't think the government has any business telling any individual what they can and can't do with their own body so long as the individual has not lost rights due to criminal behavior.

For this reason alone I don't agree with the idea.

I do agree that men should be equally responsible for birth control.

It's just a thought game. A snarcasm if you will. Smile

And yes, all parties should sex responsibly.

Once again - I'm ahead of the curve...

Had a vasectomy over thirty years ago...

Oh, it's cool -- I didn't think you were floating a potential ballot initiative. Just me running my mouth, as usual.

What needs to happen is for men and women to take responsibility for their reproductive systems and any resulting diseases or pregnancies.

Problem with that approach ... Natural Selection.

The ones that don't take responsibility will out-breed those that do.

There's a reason that the RCC is against condoms... strength in numbers.

In the Philippines, it's long been established policy (church not state policy) to not only block all blocks to population growth (poverty and ignorance are useful too) but also export the sheep (as domestic helpers, sailors etc.) to spread the God-virus.

People will take responsibility once wealth and education levels increase.

Before that... all you smart people ... go for it ... Do your duty!

Yes
