That you are.
Thumbsup

That's why I can go and buy things in funderful sizes like 1 lb 454 g, 1 pt 570 mL, 72" 183 cm, 1 acre 0.4 ha and more.

If that really bothers you, have a wee dram and relax.

That's the apothecary system I was talking about. Some older doctors still use it in hospitals, though it's looked down upon because there aren't always exact conversations from apothecary to metric...pain in the fucking ass Angry
(especially when you're dealing with controlled substances Gasp )

--Daylight Savings Time- set the clocks--let them be, none of this switching them twice a year....just deal with it.

Well, the axial tilt of Mars is 25° to Earth's 23°, so seasonal variation is actually slightly more extreme. And the day is ~24.5 hours long. And the orbit is much more eccentric, so seasons aren't equal in length...

Not that DST isn't stupid (it very much is). But we'll need a whole new system of timekeeping.

Ah, so like every country on Earth besides the USA, then.
Tongue
I would like a metric time scale.
100 or 10 hours in a day. (You would have to make seconds longer or shorter.)
Here's my system:
10 hours in one full day-night cycle
100 minutes per hour
100 seconds per minute

The French tried it after the revolution. It was a miserable failure.

It was never popular with the common people and it was abandoned shortly after and then then tried again and abandoned again.

Of course, it was those damn commoners which fucked it all up again. Angry

The people closely associated with the namesake of female canines are suffering from a nondescript form of lunacy.
