Life of an atheist
what it would be like to live In Middle East or some other countries which has sharia law? Do they kill for being an atheist?

Sharia has been tempered by the secular because ... pragmatism i.e. trade.

Is that because you don't belong* to Islam? Like if a non Muslim is an atheist or not that doesn't matter to Sharia and Islam right? So if a Muslim becomes a non believer of Islam doesn't it matter ?

There are political parties and lobby groups that insist that non-muslims should also be following Sharia. They are vocal but not powerful. They're support is mainly from the rural / less educated areas.

Fortunately, the Chinese and Indian minorities are large enough and politically involved enough to keep the overall culture centred.
