I'll be adding to the first number soon. I've recently decided that I don't have to like the poster in order to like the post. Tongue

Pretty bloody stingy with you awarding of +rep points. You bastard!

RE: Likes Given vs. Likes Recieved
It's only because of this thread that I've started to give likes. I always kind of missed the point of it during normal interwebs musings. Never really cared that much I guess. I have come to understand the concept due to this forum.

Reps, however, still escape me. Somehow I still don't know when, or why it is proper to give a rep. I like getting them, but feel like a cheesedick when I want to give one.

But now I have come to believe that the whole world is an enigma, a harmless enigma that is made terrible by our own mad attempt to interpret it as though it had an underlying truth.

DLJ, still sticking with that Forum vs. Community based on likes given/received thing of yours?

What else would you expect from an Agnostic? That like button is permanent, he can't declare it to be so that he likes the post on such a whim.

Given 0.49
Received 3.21

I like a bunch of what's said, I just get caught up looking for the next response, or just completely forget like is an option. Some of the things if "like"d look like random slips.

So... You admit to stalking the other forum members? Consider You probably saw this thread and went hunting for the profiles of people that you felt were "stingy."

I didn't need to go hunting. Maybe it's just me that notices but a double-figure 'likes given' stands out a mile.

As FT pointed out, it's been an hypothesis I've considered for a while that the low-likers are likely here for the forum-esque activity here whereas the high-likers are here for the community-esque nature of the place.

I'm making a judgement but there is no condemnation attached.
