RE: List of religious forums
Thanks, and, for the up date.
It should be remembered that the religions of the Book, Judaism, Islam, and Christianity aren't the only faiths.
A look at Hinduism, Jainism, Buddhism. Theosophy,Scientology, Family Constellations etc may prove interesting too....Angel

RE: List of religious forums
I frequently go to http://www.ReligiousForums.com. Many people from all religions and world views contribute there.

http://www.theologyonline.com/ - they allow posters of all religion and non-religion, just don't expect it to be pretty.

Yeah, I started up an account there about a month ago, and quit last week when three of the mods made it clear that they didn't want me posting there. I was quite careful to stay within the limits of their ToS, but they got increasingly creative in how they interpreted it. I decided there was no point to posting there if I had to go up against three people who could simply delete my posts or lock me out of threads on a whim.

As for the people there, some of them are absolutely crazy (I seriously didn't know that anyone still believed in Geocentricism, but apparently two people still do!), but a lot of them are really cool to talk to.

At least currently, I wouldn't recommend signing up an account there as a non-believer. While their ToS says they are welcome (albeit with significantly reduced permission and abilities), the mods are really pushing to interpret this as seekers are welcome to come and ask questions, but non-believers cannot post questions, because it's a "privately owned ministry site" and not an atheist sounding board. Oh well.

It is! That's actually how I found this place last night by Googling "Christian apologetics forum". That's also how I found Worthy.

At the risk of bumping an old thread, I'd add http://www.earlywritings.com/ to this list. It has a focus on the Bible and history.

Any time I join one and ask any legit questions i get booted! Such a sheltered little life these religious people live.

Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent.
Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil?
Is he neither able nor willing? Then why call him God?”

Here are some forums where atheists can express their opinions freely:

http://onlinedebate.net/

http://bible-discussion.com/

http://debatingchristianity.com/forum/index.php

Despite their names the last two aren't Christian forums. The Bible discussion forum is simply a forum for anyone who wants to discuss the Bible, regardless of what he believes about it. The full name of the debatingchristianity forum is Debating Christianity and Religion. There are atheists active on all three forums and even some of the moderators on all three are atheists.

God's invisible attributes, namely, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world, in the things that have been made.
