Seriously, excellent post and well thought out. While not as bad as killing children, I have a problem with God killing all the other animals too.

Yeah, killing animals sucks, too.

Even their, "you can't understand God!" line doesn't work against this, though. At the end of the day, whatever his "reasons", he still had an infinite number of other courses of action and he chose that. That's why I spelled out all the other hoops he jumped through. Seriously. He saved fucking rock formations. He magically kept the carnivores alive for a few generations.

They can say that their willful child death is part of a beautiful plan, but I want them to own that stupid excuse. I want them to have to admit that when they say "omnibenevolence" they also mean "willful child torture/killing".
