Live rally to save healthcare
Sanders is talking right now. I hope this triggers the Republicans here.

RE: Live rally to save healthcare
Save healthcare?

Or save Obamacare?

Big difference.

Obamacare is GONE.

The majority of American people want it gone. http://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/...html#polls

Democrats had their shot. It failed. We didn't get to keep our plans. We didn't get to keep our doctors. Deductables are sky high. Premiums are through the roof. One of the architects of the ACA came out and said it was the stupidity of the American people that allowed them to get it into law. That pissed off a lot of people.

After passing the ACA, democrats lost everything. They have been destroyed at every level of government. Democrats are at their lowest % of representation in government since the civil war.

After giving democrats a chance, the American people have corrected their mistake. They have handed the republicans the keys and democrats can't do ANYTHING to stop them. Trump will pack federal courts with lifetime appointments. There are 103 federal court vacancies that Trump will fill. Obama had 53. The thought of Hillary making those picks is scary.

Welcome to the age of patriotism, nationalism, and anti-liberalism. We are going to rid the schools of common core. Stop force feeding our kids liberal nonsense so they can stop being whiny safe space needing pansy asses.

We are going to make America great again.

What's so great about all of that?
Blind patriotism and nationalism are fucking dangerous as hell, if you don't realize that you have your helmet on too tight.
A swing to the extreme far right isn't the answer to our problems, what we need is balance.

I agree. Too far right is bad. But the far left (like government mandated healthcare) caused a mad scramble in the other direction like we have never seen. We don't need Ted Cruz far right. But there is nothing wrong with trying to build up the American worker and preventing jobs from moving overseas. There is nothing wrong with stopping ILLEGAL immigration. There is nothing wrong with withholding government fund from cities that harbor ILLEGAL immigrants. There is nothing wrong with building our military strength to pre Clinton levels.

Both democrats and republicans need a shift towards the center. But right now the American people will accept more right than left and that can be seen in the last 6 years of elections.

Not according to the most recent popular vote.

Your belief that "pot smokers shouldn't count as citizens" isn't too far right to you? Fuck you.

We don't use a popular vote. It's meaningless.

But as I've pointed out before. Millions of republicans in California don't vote in presidential elections unless there's a major senate race on the ballot, like 2004 when the margin of victory in California was 1 million votes instead of 5 million votes. They know a republican won't win the California electoral votes, and with two democrats on the ballot for senate and no republicans, they stayed home. If Trump pulled as many votes as Bush in California with a republican senator on the ballot the popular vote would have been close to tied.

But the presidency is only one race. If you look at every election over the last 6 years, democrats have been practically eliminated from power except in 7 states.
