It looks pretty cool.
The clouds are moving low and fast in Houston, so it's visible.

I just wish that I had a way to personally photograph it.

It was awesome here... It had a mystical red glow... probably due to the humid air from the moor in front of my house.

What are the tides doing?

The moon is red for at least one night a month here. I like to point it out all the time because Mormon's say that a red moon will only happen the night before the apocalypse.

Quite a lot apparently. Larger Earth quakes tend to happen during super moons and I once saw a documentary that said the moon provided friction to keep the Earth's core hot.
