RE: Looking for deconversion advice?
My friends call me: Tomek.
Background: Raised as roman catholic, atheist for let's say 10 years.
Degree of deconversion pain: I hardly felt anything when I broke the chains of indoctrination as god was never thing of importance in my life.
Type of support offered: PM.

The first revolt is against the supreme tyranny of theology, of the phantom of God. As long as we have a master in heaven, we will be slaves on earth.

Mikhail Bakunin.

RE: Looking for deconversion advice?
My friends call me: Dave

Background: Church of Christ

Degree of deconversion pain: Bad. It was a nearly decade long struggle to figure out who I am and what I believe. I lost some friends along the way and many family members don't talk to me anymore.

Type of support offered: You are not broken. It can feel that way often, but religion is broken, not you. It gets a lot easier to accept your apostasy once you realize that there is nothing wrong with you.

Excuse me, I'm making perfect sense. You're just not keeping up.

"Let me give you some advice, bastard: never forget what you are. The rest of the world will not. Wear it like armor, and it can never be used to hurt you." - Tyrion Lannister

Good luck.

NOTE: Member, Tomasia uses this site to slander other individuals. He then later proclaims it a joke, but not in public.
I will call him a liar and a dog here and now.
