Star Looking for sci-fi stories that deal with infinity/beyond the Universe
I'm looking for story recommendations that deal with the going beyond the visible Universe, non visible (light from stars and galaxies that haven't reached us, and can never reach us / universe expansion and acceleration), beyond background radiation, and out into infinity.

I'd check out the books "Xenocide" and "Children of the Mind" by Orson Scott Card. You may need to read Ender's Game, Ender in Exile, and Speaker for the Dead in order to fully understand my two recommendations, but both books deal with traveling outside the universe in "nothingness".

RE: Looking for sci-fi stories that deal with infinity/beyond the Universe
I've only read the first Ender's Game book, and don't plan on reading more for awhile. Could you or someone go into more detail about the "nothingness"? I don't mind spoilers, or massive reveals. Like I said, I'll probably forget by the time I get around to reading it.

The Time Ships -- Stephen Baxter

E 2 = (mc 2)2 + (pc )2
614C → 714N + e + ̅νe
2 K(s) + 2 H2O(l) → 2 KOH(aq) + H2 (g) + 196 kJ/mol
It works, bitches.
