RE: MYST
Can you get versions of MYST that will work with new operating systems?

See here they are the bruises some were self-inflicted and some showed up along the way. - JF

The easiest way is to play RealMyst. However, seeing everything in 3d actually makes it easier, and IMO, kind of takes away a lot of the mystery (excuse the pun).

I've heard that the Myst Masterpiece Edition sold on Steam and Good Old Games has some issues with Windows 7+.

If we came from dust, then why is there still dust?

Christ I remember Myst... Never had a fucking clue what it was all about. But there was something fun about pulling random levers until something happened.

There's a dirty joke there somewhere.

Don't let those gnomes and their illusions get you down. They're just gnomes and illusions.

Well, let's be thankful they were levers and not knobs.

I can download Myst and Riven for my iPad....

I've resisted the urge.

But as if to knock me down, reality came around
And without so much as a mere touch, cut me into little pieces

I would like to play it again - or try to. Undecided

I would need to find a version that works on Windows 10 or dig out one of the ancient desktops I have in a closet upstairs.
