I tell everyone my identity and if you all trust me, then everyone sends their identity to me. No roles or skills, just identity.
  • We can then quickly see who has claimed the same identity as someone else and we interrogate them on the thread.
  • We also see who has claimed a minor character and we guess that they are Mafia and get them to explain themselves
  • And we also see who hasn't claimed an identity at all.

If we all do it then it leaves the Mafia in rather difficult situation because the game has only just started and it takes time to chat with each other and figure out a good cover story.

Or we could wait a day not doing anything, vote no lynch and waste a day. Sure we might not manage to get enough information to decide who to lynch, but we'll have to go through this whole process at some point, let's do it sooner rather than later.

We've got no reason to trust you with all that info. We have to have a reason to trust people, and then we can rally around that person. That usually takes at least one successful night action from an investigative player that results in a mafia lynch.

I hope that the world turns, and things get better. But what I hope most of all is that you understand what I mean when I tell you that, even though I do not know you, and even though I may never meet you, laugh with you, cry with you, or kiss you, I love you. With all my heart, I love you. - V for Vendetta

I concur with LJ.

No lynch.

I never really understand why people put so much trust in the first person to call for a lynch. The Mafia could easily have one person claim to have an investigative role and have someone else be supportive of them. It still comes down to how plausible the characters are.

Oh well, never mind then. We'll wait until tomorrow and then have someone call for a lynch without explaining why and then we'll all vote in agreement. I'll be off to bed in about an hour.

I hope I survive now I've stuck my head above the parapet.

Oh, we vote in thread? Ok, Vote: no lynch.

A person very dear to me was badly hurt through a misunderstanding and miscommunication. For this, I am sorry, and he knows it. That said, any blaming me for malicious intent is for the birds. I will not wear some scarlet letter, I will not be anybody's whipping girl, and I will not lurk in silence.
