Make fun of your ex-faith
As the title says. Easier and more fun to get over it when making fun of it, heh.

So let me start.
Exfaith and belief system (as most know) is witchcraft and I believed, that:

>> a lit candle in my room can cause someone pain who is not in my room
>> if you put a specific stone in water, and you drink that water, you can heal cancer with that
>> specific stones do heal and help you concentrate
>> if you do laundry during the 12 days following and including midwinter, someone will die the following year because THOR will take that person
>> we are having Fimbulwinter (marking the start of the end of the world) these years and literally only two humans will survive
>> I will survive Fimbulwinter
>> I am a dragon in another, real existing, spiritual realm
>> one of my friends is a star (blink blink like the one in the sky)
>> putting dragon blood (a red incense powder) on the entrance of my room will keep the evil away
>> drawing signs into the air will do something else than make me look silly

Now you guys
(try to think of stuff youself and not just copy paste zombie jesus)

btw saying "Jesus" backwards sounds like "saussage"... just saying.

RE: Make fun of your ex-faith
Mine is atheist:

I used to think I was smarter than everyone.
I used to think everyone who was a theist was below me.
I used to think that I was in control of everything.
I used to believe that there was a rational explanation for everything.
I used to think all theists were nuts.
I used to have a giant chip on my shoulders towards Christians.
I used to annoyingly challenge everyone who wasn't an atheist in debate just to berate their beliefs.

Actually, your ex-faith seems to have been asshole. Thumbsup

Skepticism is not a position; it is an approach to claims.
Science is not a subject, but a method.

Something we can agree upon.

I was a giant one.

I don't have one! Sadcryface2

My original "faith" was, you know, Gwyneth, so... it's not like work to make that seem absurd.

KC: atheist is not a faith... you should know that.
Also this was supposed to be for some laughter and making yourself ridiculous. Your post is not fun at all...

Sorry : /

I thought I did look ridiculous.

Edit:
Also, I don't have an ex-faith, so I was just trying to participate the best way I knew how.

but I do have this cool gif, and I'm gonna use it. [Image: tongue0011.gif] Nah nah na-nah nah.

I think in the end, I just feel like I'm a secular person who has a skeptical eye toward any extraordinary claim, carefully examining any extraordinary evidence before jumping to conclusions. ~ Eric ~ My friend ... who figured it out.

This basically says everything

Member of the Cult of Reason

The atheist is a man who destroys the imaginary things which afflict the human race, and so leads men back to nature, to experience and to reason.

RE: Make fun of your ex-faith
The only thing that even closely would be faith and such from things I used to believe (than ironically found so stupid, I realized couldn't/wouldn't be true) that I recall:
1) Dead relatives would watch over me

I thought "neat!" then... "um... so they're watching me get naked, have sex, shower..... that's a bit creepy.... wait, why would they even care? Is this some thing to scare kids into only doing things that they would want relatives to know? Sounds kind of fishy.... especially since I only would fear that and not god....huh...." Then I went on my own merry way and figured if they did watch, I might as well put on one hell of a show for them!
