RE: Man Made Global Warming
Firstly I have to apologise for my little outburst.....basicly when I hear something I like to look into it from all angles.....to hear and see as many viewpoints in an unbiased way as possible....with a keen and open mind so I can come to a rounded conclusion based on all evidence laid out on the table. When im not on the internet researching im normally out attending meetings/workshops/debates on the global economy with the fine and outstanding people I affilate with......we organise informative events that are open to all people from all backgrounds in a fun and open enviroment. Maybe my balance is off and I need some more R and R.....im still re-gathering all of my info and I now have an external hardrive so it I wont ever lose anymore info.....just thought I would give some scope but this thread isnt about me and I think I have said enough so I will crack on with some of the research I have once more unearthed.......
Basicly you guys bring up some good points about "peak oil"...I dont know if any of you peeps have heard of ABIOTIC OIL???
Basicly today we have the current understanding that oil (and other fossil fuels) is from the anaerobic decomposition of buried dead organisms over the course of millions of years.....if this is the case then yes....we would have a finite source. However the theory of Abiotic oil seem to state otherwise.

All of which has led some scientists to a radical theory: Eugene Island is rapidly refilling itself, perhaps from some continuous source miles below the Earth's surface. That, they say, raises the tantalizing possibility that oil may not be the limited resource it is assumed to be.

The lead scientist on the study ? Giora Proskurowski of the School of Oceanography at the University of Washington in Seattle ? says the hydrogen-rich fluids venting at the bottom of the Atlantic Ocean in the Lost City Hydrothermal Field were produced by the abiotic synthesis of hydrocarbons in the mantle of the earth.
The abiotic theory of the origin of oil directly challenges the conventional scientific theory that hydrocarbons are organic in nature, created by the deterioration of biological material deposited millions of years ago in sedimentary rock and converted to hydrocarbons under intense heat and pressure.
The abiotic theory argues, in contrast, that hydrocarbons are naturally produced on a continual basis throughout the solar system, including within the mantle of the earth. The advocates believe the oil seeps up through bedrock cracks to deposit in sedimentary rock. Traditional petro-geologists, they say, have confused the rock as the originator rather than the depository of the hydrocarbons.
This isnt a new theory and for a long time it has been quickly dismissed but more and more scientists have been coming forward to look into this and research it. I myself believe that more needs to be done to look into the Abiotic theory.......the russians have been drilling for Abiotic Oil for a long time, from what I gathered they are the leading experts in the field......I cannot remember what country they went to (it was one in Asia) that was meant to be barren of oil and they drilled further than 30,000 feet (a feat on its own and extremly challenging to do given the solid matter they have to drill through) and this country is now producing oil.......I know I shall come across it again as I resurface my research and once I do I will immediatly post about it.
Ok so back to the climate........so we are told that around 97-98% of scientists support the science and the theory to global warming or recently re-dubbed "climate change" where there is around 3% of scientists that disagree. Firstly I would like to see how they came to these percentages and would love to see a complete list of scientists who back these theorys.......because they must have some sort of register of this sort to come to these percentages.

Climate change science is in a period of ‘negative discovery’ - the more we learn about this exceptionally complex and rapidly evolving field the more we realize how little we know. Truly, the science is NOT settled.
Therefore, there is no sound reason to impose expensive and restrictive public policy decisions on the peoples of the Earth without first providing convincing evidence that human activities are causing dangerous climate change beyond that resulting from natural causes. Before any precipitate action is taken, we must have solid observational data demonstrating that recent changes in climate differ substantially from changes observed in the past and are well in excess of normal variations caused by solar cycles, ocean currents, changes in the Earth's orbital parameters and other natural phenomena.
We the undersigned, being qualified in climate-related scientific disciplines, challenge the UNFCCC and supporters of the United Nations Climate Change Conference to produce convincing OBSERVATIONAL EVIDENCE for their claims of dangerous human-caused global warming and other changes in climate. Projections of possible future scenarios from unproven computer models of climate are not acceptable substitutes for real world data obtained through unbiased and rigorous scientific investigation.
Specifically, we challenge supporters of the hypothesis of dangerous human-caused climate change to demonstrate that:
Variations in global climate in the last hundred years are significantly outside the natural range experienced in previous centuries;
Humanity’s emissions of carbon dioxide and other ‘greenhouse gases’ (GHG) are having a dangerous impact on global climate;
Computer-based models can meaningfully replicate the impact of all of the natural factors that may significantly influence climate;
Sea levels are rising dangerously at a rate that has accelerated with increasing human GHG emissions, thereby threatening small islands and coastal communities;
The incidence of malaria is increasing due to recent climate changes;
Human society and natural ecosystems cannot adapt to foreseeable climate change as they have done in the past;
Worldwide glacier retreat, and sea ice melting in Polar Regions , is unusual and related to increases in human GHG emissions;
Polar bears and other Arctic and Antarctic wildlife are unable to adapt to anticipated local climate change effects, independent of the causes of those changes;
Hurricanes, other tropical cyclones and associated extreme weather events are increasing in severity and frequency;
Data recorded by ground-based stations are a reliable indicator of surface temperature trends.
It is not the responsibility of ‘climate realist’ scientists to prove that dangerous human-caused climate change is not happening. Rather, it is those who propose that it is, and promote the allocation of massive investments to solve the supposed ‘problem’, who have the obligation to convincingly demonstrate that recent climate change is not of mostly natural origin and, if we do nothing, catastrophic change will ensue. To date, this they have utterly failed to do so.

I think for now I have wrote enough for people to digest......I admit im not an expert on any of this but from my findings I think the offical terms can still be questioned........that the science ISNT exact yet the TPTB (the powers that be) are still pushing forward this cap and trade TAX........and that is what it is.....a tax on energy that will bring in hundreds of billions..........at a time when the economy doesnt need any more taxes, im not saying this is a legitimate excuse to not find alternative methods of energy but thats not what they are going to do.....and do you think that the largest "polluters" that will bear the brunt of these taxes will simply just pay for them???? I dont and im sure others may agree........to me it is obvious that this cost will be offset onto the consumer (me and you).
I am going fishing tommorow so when I return I shall post what I know about carbon tax or cap and trade.....whatever title you wish to give it.....how they wish to implement it and how it will potentially work.
Again I apologise for my outburst yesterday.......it is wrong for me to think that you may see me as a "conspiracy theorist" but please understand that the mainstream media do an AMAZING job in telling people things that are very biased....to the point where people just simply accept it and do not question it. In the last few years I have been ridiculed by people who are incredulous about how the economy actually works and when I show them evidence from sources like history and modern day facts they then say "oh well what can you do about it"........so I suppose I am slightly defensive to which I again apologise for.
