That would be about as cool as we could ever hope for. Finding any life forms outside of earth's atmosphere could really fuck up the Bible beaters.
Shit, can they analyse the DNA?

I'd be interested if it has the same coding of AGCU that all life on Earth has or if it is something entirely different.

I think micro-life on a neighboring planet is a massive OMG!!!

Would be awesome.

There is already a thread on this subject. BTW it is Monday. So far, nothing.

It's still Sunday in the US and that's all that counts. Big Grin

I'm amazed that the tea party idiots haven't demanded the date line be moved to the atlantic so that the US is never behind anybody else.

ehhhh it's micro though. And where there's water it's almost a given that there's life. I think it was only a matter of time before they found micro-life on Mars.

Structures would be completely a shock and it would prove that at one point there was 'intelligent' life on Mars. It would be a far far greater discovery than some bacteria in an isolated pool of water. IMO.

Not to belittle finding bacteria on Mars though because yea that in itself is still a major discovery. Just not shocking OMG. IMO.

I find it difficult to believe they could keep their yaps shut over the weekend if they found life. Consider

They found one of Banjo's drum sticks there. He's outta this world anyway. Big Grin
