A good life, well-lived.

Sad to see her pass though. No

Many a guy who grew up in the late 60's or 70's had a fantasy or two about her....

Sad

I think she was almost totally blind towards the end. She'd had diabetes since her mid twenties.

He is deformed, crooked, old, and sere,
Ill-fac’d, worse bodied, shapeless every where;
Vicious, ungentle, foolish, blunt, unkind,
Stigmatical in making, worse in mind.

I believe the article I read type 1 diabetes since she was 33. She was very active in juvenile diabetes.

At one point she did nearly go blind, but I don't know about later in her life.

I'm sure there were complications with type 1 that were factors in her death.

Loved her. Sad day.

Before she was a star she started off as a dancer. She danced a little as the Happy Hot Point pixy. Soooo cute.

And then she was the legs and voice on the Richard Diamond, Private Detective show. That's all you saw of her were her legs. Can't find a picture anywhere.

And then she did the Dick Van Dyke show and danced a little on that. She was so cute on that show too.

Her skirts were a little too tight around her butt on the show and the producers made her wear less form fitting garments and they would only let her wear one pair of capri pants in only one scene per week. Rolleyes Geesh!

She seemed to be a good person and wasn't part of the drama and scandal that often plague actors.

I do remember The Dick Van Dyke Show though even I was pretty young when that was on. I watched The Mary Tyler Moore Show and enjoyed it at the time.

RIP MTM.

See here they are the bruises some were self-inflicted and some showed up along the way. - JF
