RE: Member art
Nice photos Lady Jane. The first one is similar to a jelly fish that I took a picture of at a North Carolina fish aquarium.
This is a picture that someone took of me taking a picture of a rather friendly squirrel. It was taken in the park surrounding the Reflecting Pool in Washington, D.C. a few years ago. I decided to spice it up a little. My hand and the camera it was holding was visible under my armpit, so I removed them. The light sabers were found on various websites. Its amazing what you can do on MS Paint.

You can see the first part here. I'll upload the second part when I finish it. I've created a t-shirt design for shirtpunch.com, hoping they pick it. It's a design that plays off of the Salt Life logo.

I found this one tonight. I did this years ago, I think it was somewhat like another picture I saw but can't remember. This one is in a chalk pastel.

RE: Member art
I specifically no longer sketch, paint or do anything like that. I've found various other ways of expressing myself. My most sincere passion is in the car world, specifically race cars. Making things functional, doing various things to them to make them faster, better, etc.
On top of this I love taking old beat up cars and restoring them. Hopefully, without giving too much away, here's a before and after picture of a car I picked up almost 2 years ago. I bought it beat up, needing a lot of work. Within a few months I have it back to daily driver status and it is now my daily driver. (Engine bay pictures) http://imgur.com/a/8vG1O And a few recent progress bits I made on my trackday project. I made the carbon bits and carpeted the inside myself. (dash, tank cover, switch panel, etc etc) http://imgur.com/a/Vhyco May not be art to some, but it's how I express myself and put my motivation to play. |

Here is a demon doodle I recently did. It started off as a nerdy character, but morphed into a little devil.
