The animation is done by Nina Paley, a cartoonist and free culture advocate.

My favorite piece by her is Sita Sings the Blues, which retails the Hindu Epic the Ramayana from the perspective of the hero's wife.

Wow! This is amazing work! She's my new hero!
I think I've seen part of the bit about the cat before but, figured it was just a one-off.

Thanks for this. I can't wait to turn other friends on to her work. Thumbsup

Well that was a piece of shit. In an over simplification of a region dating back tens of thousands of years in human history across a region spanning more than 2.5 million square miles this fucking dipshit moron of an animator manages to only put a single stroke of a brush on a canvas that put Da Vinci's work to shame. And that single stroke doesn't even serve to enhance the visage of the canvas but only blemishes it due to the shear amount of propaganda that it must have taken to make something this fucking wasteful and misleading.

I mean holy balls! Starting off with the religious overture was bad enough, ignoring entirely the history of international subterfuge in this part of the world with various factions seeking to undermine the others. I mean hell lets just ignore all the shit that went down in Africa and South America during the cold war because the government says that this ancient religion is the cause of all of our worldly woes.

I legitimately feel dumber for watching this video, I don't normally get this angry but when you make me feel dumb by propagating propaganda I get angry.

Oh, well in that case it is actually a work of art, a masterpiece in detailing what propaganda looks like in the 21st century. So technically it is a part of western history.

And no for your information propaganda need not be propaganda because it is spread by a government agency. It can just as well be propaganda from the mouth of a schizumgehirn that the government uses as a toilet to take a dump in and when that shizumgehirn speaks the toilet flushes and all that shit comes washing out unto me and you.

Banjo if I could neg rep you I would. I would neg rep you into oblivion for sharing something so FUCKING STUPID!

Here's something from Western History just for you Kim. Unfettered reality.
