I've played a fair bit of Minecraft back in the early stages a few months ago
on free online servers, very very addicting and interesting game. I couldn't
even begin to imagine the amount of effort you put into that castle, fuck me.
I was on a server once and a guy tried to build a Roman temple, actually
worked fairly well. Awesome game, plan on purchasing it once I have
a better computer to play it on.

After playing the beta for 5 min i was scared if i kept going id be addicted.... i wonder if there are support groups for this

Haha yeah it's pretty bad. You should see the inside. I've got to have some sort of OCD so everything has to be "perfect."

I'm addicted. It's interesting though. Real life mining tactics actually have really helped me become a more efficient miner.

I've been playing quite a bit lately and set up a 1.8.1 Bukkit server called "Open Mined." If anyone's interested in playing I can give server details but I'm limited to five players at the moment.

I was hoping a forum full of skeptics would yield a more bountiful harvest of nerds with whom to play.

I'm a big fan of Minecraft, and my wife plays it even more than I do. I don't have any current screenshots, but my wife makes Minecraft YouTube gameplay videos. We have a ton of fun with this game.

This is a really good mining tactic! I didn't know it was a real-life tactic... it certainly works perfectly in Minecraft.

Yay Minecraft! I'm also pretty addicted. Right now I'm working on building a version of the castle on this album cover:

I play on a multiplayer server with some friends from college, and everyone has their own little pet projects. We each have bases that are connected by a network of sky bridges at the maximum build height, it looks pretty epic.

I'll post screenshots of my castle in progress as soon as I have a chance.

LOVING the new update btw. Hardcore mode is at once extremely fun and very heartbreaking. Although I've only had 1 world destroyed so far, it was after a couple hours of effort and I was blindsided by a GODDAMN CREEPER. Gotta learn not to get attached. Such a fun game...
