Miracles in Catholicism
There are many miracles supposedly in Catholicism but this one striles me as crazy if true. My friend told me about a book online where soemone who works in canonization of saints says someone was healed overnight of 3rd degree burns. The man who says this does work for the Catholic Church Peter Gumpel. Not sayiing I believe this but I know the Church does investigate these claims. If something like this happened, would it not be worldwide news? Granted he does not give the girls name or the saint who did it, but he implies that it was confirmed a miracle. What do you think? This is complete bullshit? Is there any way to investigagte whether or not anyone has everbeen spontaneously healed of 3rd degree burns? Thanks in advance!

RE: Miracles in Catholicism
Not Catholic, but Smith Wigglesworth supposedly did a lot of healing.

Not mentioned in the wiki is regeneration of limbs that is attributed to his ministry.

I have a whole book on the guy... but, I hold him in as much regard as Benny Hinn.

Total BULLSHIT!!!!

History, I believe, furnishes no example of a priest-ridden people maintaining a
free civil government. This marks the lowest grade of ignorance, of which their
political as well as religious leaders will always avail themselves for their
own purpose. ~ Thomas Jefferson
